Senior People Business Partner

Main Responsibilties
  • Strategic HR Partnership: Collaborate closely with senior leaders to understand business goals, challenges, and opportunities. Provide expert guidance and develop proactive people strategies to support organisational objectives.

  • Organisational Effectiveness: Assess and enhance our structures, processes, and workflows to improve efficiency and productivity. Partner with leaders to implement change management initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Talent Management: Lead talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning efforts. Develop and implement strategies for attracting, developing, and retaining top talent. Work closely with managers to identify high-potential employees and create robust development plans.

  • Employee Engagement: Drive initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction, motivation, and engagement. Develop and implement programs to foster a positive work environment, including recognition programs, employee surveys, and feedback mechanisms.

  • Performance Management: Support the design and implementation of effective performance management processes. Provide guidance to managers on performance-related matters, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.

  • Policy and Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. Develop and implement relevant policies, procedures, and guidelines that align with legal requirements and best practices.

  • Analytics and Reporting: Utilise people data and analytics to provide insights and recommendations for improving Arctoris people initiatives. Prepare regular reports on key people metrics and trends for senior leadership.

  • Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and investigations. Ensure fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience
  • A minimum of 5 years HR/People/Talent generalist experience in a corporate environment, ideally experience in fast growth companies

  • Strong knowledge of best practices, employee relations and employee development.

  • Proven experience in business partnering, leading people initiatives and creating strong teams.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and drive results.

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR-related software.

  • Professional certifications are desirable.

  • Great IT skills, especially strong people systems experience

  • Project experience in areas such as culture, DEI, development, change, analytics, or reward 

  • Positive approach to problem-solving

  • Able to work at pace and multitask
